How to Be Happy Being Yourself

Being yourself is the easy bit, but being happy is difficult. They are similar but the results are massively different.

Steps

  1. Be yourself  This means doing what you want, achieving your goals instead of living up to others expectations. This is your life. Tune out the little voice that says “What will so-and-so think.”
  2. Accept and forget. Write down all your flaws, everything you don’t like about yourself. Divide them into three columns: worth worrying about, who cares? and why is it even on this list? Rip them all up. This is not about changing yourself. This is being yourself and loving yourself for it.
  3. Accept and appreciate. Write down everything you like about yourself, even if you think it’s trivial. Things like your favorite color or music count too. The list is longer than you think it is.
  4. Eliminate! Identify places or people or things that make you feel uncomfortable with yourself. Eliminate this stuff from your schedule. You have no time for people who don’t accept you.
  5. Forget others’ opinions. If you feel fat because someone said you were they were probably covering up for their own insecurity problem. You’d be surprised how many people project their own fears by picking on other people. Was the person who said it more overweight than you are? Happens all the time. Feel superior, take the high road and forget.
  6. Learn to forgive. Once your self-esteem is booming and confidence glowing I bet at least one person will be sorry. Forgive and forget. Everyone makes mistakes. You did by listening to them.
  7. Enjoy yourself! Life is short. Live it well. Never back down from an obstacle you face. Always remember,you are number one. You are you and its only the world around you.
  8. Learn to have a good laugh everyday. Call it your daily dose of laughter. Laughter has been proven to help you relax, boost your immune system, protect your heart, and help you just feel good in general. Think about old stuff that you thought was funny and laugh about it again!
  9. Enjoy what you do, and don’t let ANYONE get you down because they don’t do it, or they don’t like it. No one can be normal because everyone’s unique. What is the point of striving for mediocrity?

 

Tips

  • When you’re forgiving someone – forgive them, then move on! Don’t rehash or remind. It doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen… regain your power and choose to release yourself from the situation. Mistakes happen, people may or may not learn from them. Forgive.
  • Try helping others. There is nothing like helping someone else to help improve your self confidence.
  • Do something that you want to do, or like, every day. Whether it be listening to the song that you love, or dancing in your underwear in your bedroom, it doesn’t matter. Just do it and forget about other people. Enjoy the moment of being free, and carry that with you for the rest of the day.
  • It’s your life; so live it how you want to! But be aware of what you are doing.
  • Make a “happy” songs play list to listen to when you’re not feeling so good. This especially helps at the beginning of your day. This is “happy” in the sense that they make you happy and have good memories, not whether other people think they are or aren’t happy songs.
  • Make an “angry” songs play list to listen to when you face rough situations. Chances are there are a lot of good musicians who’ve been where you’re at, felt what you feel and can express your feelings so well that you wind up letting them go, dancing and being creative.
  • If you are feeling lonely spend some time doing fun things with the people that are close to you. Or get on the Internet and meet people you have more in common with.
  • Read a book or do something you enjoy.

 

How to Make Your Impossible Wishes Come True

Thought this would be a great share since Today is my Birthday and wanted to share Article that I came across. I will be using it today and Thanks for all the Pre B Day Wishes. I am still holding strong at 32 years young I have enjoyed this number a couple of years now and I am not moving.

Do you want to know how to make even the craziest wishes come true? Well here's how.

You do need to remember one thing though, you cannot live in ideas alone, but need to do things to achieve your goals.

Steps

  1. Make wishes on your birthday. Yes, your birthday comes only once a year but did you also know it comes twice a day? Like say your birthday is May 17 you would make a wish at 5:17 am or 5:17 pm. If it's August 15 it would be 8:15. So make sure you know which number your birthday month is. January is the 1st, December is the 12th, and June is the 6th. But if your birthday is something like April 8th it would be 4:08, okay?
  2. Write it down on paper and hide it in your pillowcase or underneath your pillow.
  3. Wish on anything and everything. This means from shooting stars to those pennies in the fountain- even a stray eyelash! There are many things that people choose to wish on- find yours.
  4. Work for them. Many "impossible" dreams have become possible. This often includes working toward your goal. Sometimes getting what you want requires this. To get to your dream job may take years of college.
  5. Decide- is it worth it? You have this life-long wish that you've been waiting practically since birth to come true. Well, will it? Is there any reasonable possibility, or are you just dreaming your life away? Are you willing to work for it? Consider these questions.

Tips

  • It takes time maybe over a year, Because I wished for my hair to reach my shoulders and 6 months later I straighten my hair and it was the exact same length I wished for so it takes time.
  • Because you'll wish for it, you'll forget about it, you'll find it and you'll find out it came true.

Warnings

  • Don't wish for anything mean like death.
  • Do not count on the magical wish fairy to grant everything. Things take time.

So smart is a person who comes up with a gleaming new solution to a problem, but smarter is he who writes it down so that it is never forgotten, The solution might slip the mind of the former but the latter will have it saved forever "Write down the thought of the moment. Those that come unsought for are commonly the most valuable" {Francis Bacon}

Most professional author keep notepads to scribble down whatever ideas their brains have to offer. NO matter how smart and sharp your mind is out lives have become too fast and busy to allow the brain to cling to each thought. Since idea come without prior notice, it is essential to pen it down before we lose it to the hustle and bustle of this world. It is very likely that a brilliant idea would be dumped under the heavy load of our daily tensions and work. {Science has said "Proven" that we have 3 one Million $ ideas a year / now I don't know how they came up with that FACT however that is one i will accept on face value} However, once a thought is written down, the paper will lock the minute details of the idea and it can be preserved for the future use. Writing  also comes with an added advantage of conditioning our thoughts as explained in the following quote: "The act of putting pen to paper encourages pause for thought, this in turn makes us think more deeply about life, which helps us regain out equilibrium" {Norbet Plat}

How to create a Happy Lifestyle….

Self improvement is very important to create a Happy Lifestyle and build self-esteem.

Steps

  1. Begin to appreciate everything that surrounds you. The trees around you, the wind, the swirling leaves, the tiny ants around your feet. As you walk, close your eyes and acknowledge this, feel the wind brushing your face, the warm sun rays hit your arms, and in your mind see how it all revolves around you. This is a good start. Look at the animals, your dog, the wild birds, and see their essence in you mind. Imagine them as little lights, imagine yourself as light. Feel in your heart how it all connects with you, and you with it.
  2. Begin to see things you had never seen before. Look within yourself. See your purity, your essence, and there you will find what bothers you, what keeps you from being your ultimate being.
  3. Gain insight into the world and into yourself. You will find yourself changing, the way you think the way you act perhaps. You can't force it, you can't say "okay, I'm going to do (this or that)" this mostly never works because it's drastic, there is no time to evolve, to learn, to grow.

Here is a couple of final Tips that you must remember and use.

  • Improving oneself is probably the hardest task to accomplish because it takes great will power to truly look at yourself for who you are and not for what you pretend to be.
  • Slowly, gently, and by first appreciating the world and everything and everyone in it, you will find yourself and finally be able to know what to do.

   Have you ever worried whether there would be enough air for you to breath? How often do you ponder what you would do if the laws of gravity ceased to operate? For some reason, you never worry about the very essential elements you need to stay alive. You just trust they will be there, and they are. You trust that you heart will beat, your blood will flow, your lungs will expand and that you will stay firmly planted on the earth. You trust that every organ within you will do exactly as it should. You trust that your body will support you. Why not extend that trust to every area of you life. Trust that the universe and Creator will provide everything that you need without any effort on you part. All you ever need to do is ask and trust.
